Our Kart 4 Kids program provides pediatric oncology units with free, high-quality toys, electronics, gift cards, and more. These items provide hope and agency to a patient’s treatment experience and helps build trust with their caregivers. Most of the time, the people entering a patient’s room don’t offer a choice of what happens next. When a Kart Ambassador comes by, they’re only there to bring joy.

Encouragement for patients
Sometimes, getting the courage to go through a procedure is hard. The items on the Kart are a great way for caregivers to give a little boost of encouragement and support a child through their treatment or reward them afterwards.
Bringing normalcy to the hospital
During hospital stays, patients often miss out on milestone events from birthdays to holidays or graduations. Kart items can be given out to celebrate these important events.
We can’t say enough about how wonderful this Foundation is and how many lives they have touched. They do this by simply putting smiles on the faces of children undergoing cancer treatment on difficult, long, and hard days. This kart helps make these hard days more bearable. The kart provides a well-needed distraction and something tangible, yummy, and positive.
